Dear Bren,

You've always been my number one inspiration. Since 2017, when I first started kayaking, I've always been watching your videos. And I loved them. I would always look forward to your new uploads. I learned so many vital skills from you.

"There are two great adventures in life: one is finding what you want to do, and the other is doing it. And Tragically, most people don't get to do either" These words were incredibly motivating and pushed me to pursue my passion. Paddling as much as possible. Just like you did.

Last spring, I was invited to join a skilled kayaker from Belgium on a paddling trip. You and Adrian were also going to be there. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it due to school, a lack of gear, and inexperience. It's probably one of the decisions I regret the most. I wish I could have met you. You seemed like such a chill and awesome guy to hang out and paddle with.

You should know that we are all going to miss you deeply.

Paddling the Fournel was so much more than just a kayaking trip for me. I felt an extraordinary connection with my best friends as we explored this river together.
The shared experience was unforgettable, filled with joy, excitement, and pure happiness over those two incredible days at the fournel.

What an amazing year 2024 has been! Even though I made the questionable decision to start university 😉, I still managed to have so many epic paddling days. Huge thanks to all my kayaking buddies who joined me on these adventures, and to Spade Kayaks for keeping me geared up with boats, paddles, and my drysuit.

My biggest video project unfortunately didn’t come together this year, but I’m super excited to keep chasing that dream in 2025. Meanwhile, I had an unforgettable time paddling some incredible rivers and making memories with amazing people.
